Forgive Me...

In Islam, we are taught of two kinds of relationship - Hablumminallah (relationship with Allah) and Hablumminannas (relationship with humans). In a case where we have committed a sin (intentional or unintentional) to another human being, Islam requires us to seek forgiveness from the particular individual as one of the conditions of repentance. I was just thinking..if we were to write something untrue or hurting in the FB or any other public domain for an example, without even knowing the true story or the person, how are we going to find this person and ask for forgiveness later on? Somebody once told me, if a person hurts you, find a place in your heart to pray for him or her so that he or she will not hurt others. And if there is someone out there who has been hurt by me, from the bottom of my heart, please forgive me.

Surah At-Taubah, verse 112:

Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance that serve Him, and praise Him that wander in devotion to the Cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer that enjoin good and forbid evil and observe the limits set by Allah - (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers.
